(Back)drop It Like It’s Hot….

Your photo booth backdrop is going to be front and centre for your booth - and a design feature of your event as a whole. You have a few options and we are always always interested in custom styling options to make your photo booth that little bit more spesh.

First thing is space. A small to medium space for us is 2.5m x 2.5m. Ideally your backdrop is against a wall out of the wind and Cartelier our photo booth sits off the wall about 2.5m - 3m metres. Our large backdrops will need 3m x 3m and can fit larger groups in the frame.

We need access to power within about 10m of Cartelier and it’s important we’re not right in the way or in a weird spot that makes it hard for us to move or guests to move around. We care about your flow baby! If you’re not sure what you need holler out here! And if you have all the space in the world - who cares - just pick your fave design options x

Stretched Fabric Backdrops

Our stretched fabric backdrops come in large (8ft x 8ft / 2.4m x 2.4m backdrop frame) and medium (6.5ft x 7ft / 1.9m x 2.1m backdrop frame). They are stretched over a square metal frame and look amazing set-up.

Sequin Curtain Style Backdrops

Our shimmery options come in four colour waves and are a curtain style backdrop that drops to the floor. These beauties are 1.8m-2.4m wide and about 2.4m high. Perfect for slightly smaller spaces.

Custom Streamer Backdrops

We are obsessed by our custom streamer backdrops!! The photos below are our pink/white/gold colour wave and can be customised to any set of colours you desire as long as we can source the material in time for your event. So give us some notice! We have black, white, gold, rose gold, silver, pastel pink, pastel blue, metallic purple, metallic blue all ready to go. Two to three colours in different shades looks the best! Add $250 to your set-up for us to create and install this custom option. We can size these in 1.5m or 3m wide and 2m+ high. Wider is better if you have the space and want more than 2-3 people to pop in each shot.

One Of A Kind Backdrops

Have something else in mind? We LOVE original ideas designs and are always happy to work with your styling team to come up with a cool idea. Or we can put you in touch with our stylist friends to come up with a cool concept unique to your event. The only thing we need aside from the right space dimensions is the backdrop to be non-reflective so it doesn’t bounce the flash back and make your shots look super weird!
